Walk On Water...

Have you ever imagined how Peter felt in those moments just before he walked on water?

Trembling, imagination running wild… what if I drown? who will save me? Can He catch me before it’s too late… but what if I succeed, what if I do the unthinkable? what if I walk on water…

‘There is more’ he told her. ‘Much more than this. You were made for more’

‘Yes, I feel it.. I know it’ she whispered, scared to admit what her mind had told her all along.

For if she dared admit, if she dared to hope, dared to believe…

‘But what is MORE?’ she asked him; afraid to hear the answer. Trembling at the thought of what she knew she had to do.

‘Trust me’ was his reply. ‘Just trust me’ that was all he said.

For he knew that she knew what she had to do.

To leave all that was familiar.

To leave the safety of the boat.

To walk on water; to chart a new course.

Over a year ago, I took a bold move to step out of my comfort zone.

To leave a great, well-paid job and wade into the unknown.

To exit ‘safe mode’.

I did it afraid; not knowing what would come of it.

Only knowing that I wanted more. I NEEDED more.

I started the journey of building Efemini.

Not just an academy to share knowledge.

But building my purpose; walking in His designed path for my life.

It’s been an awesome journey. I have made many mistakes; been overwhelmed and disappointed.

But I have achieved so much more; more than I ever thought possible.

I have grown so much; learned so much and I have not even scratched the surface of possibilities.

Often times, we focus so much on what we have not achieved that we forget to enjoy the journey, to celebrate the little successes along the way.

So today, I celebrate the little successes. The breakthroughs. The growth.

And more importantly, I celebrate the Lord for His faithfulness, His loving guidance and His unfolding plans in my life.

I trust Him.
